Boxer

Boxer is a medium size dog, robust but also harmonious and elegant. The head is square with the snout short in relation to the skull: the proportion is 1/2. It is a prognathic dog, with the mandible which is slightly more advanced than the jaw. This type of dentition is a defect in most canine breeds, but it is prescribed in the Boxer standard. The eyes are very dark. The ears can be pruned or left whole: in the latter case, they fall back forward making a slight fold. The tail is tied high, cut short and carried erect or left natural.
