Bouvier des Flandres

The Bouvier des Flandres is a very friendly dog with "beard and mustache", of an above average size, but without any sign of heaviness. The head has a massive appearance, underlined by the beard and the mustaches which decorate its snout. The skull is well developed and flat; the stop sign is not very marked, even if it seems to be because of the protruding eyebrows. The eyes are oval, dark. The ears, of medium length, are usually cut into a triangle; when they are whole, they fall down the cheeks. The tail, amputated, is carried cheerfully.
