Wirehaired Pointing Griffon

The Wirehaired Pointing Griffon is a vigorous dog, rustic and with a robust appearance. The skull is not too wide, the muzzle is long and square. The eyes are large, yellow or brown in color, topped with thick eyebrows. The ears, of medium size, are worn flat and not too low. The limbs are straight, strong, robust. The tail is straight and carried horizontally: it is usually shortened by a third or a quarter of its length.
