English Springer Spaniel

The English Springer Spaniel appearance is that of a symmetrical, strong, compact, cheerful and active dog. Among the Spaniels, the English Springer is the tallest and most characteristic. The head has a medium-length, fairly wide, slightly rounded skull, and a snout proportional to the length of the skull, wide and deep, well chiseled under the eye sockets. The medium-sized eyes have a gentle expression; they are dark hazelnut in color, almond. The ears, which adhere to the head, are of good length and width and are inserted at the height of the line of the eye. The tail is attached low and never worn above the dorsal line, well fringed and always lively.
