Poodle

Poodle are medium/large-sized dogs. Their appearance is harmonious with characteristic curly hair. The head is elegant, straight, well cut, proportioned to the trunk: it should not be heavy or massive but not too thin either. The solid neck proudly carries the head high. The body is well proportioned, with the trunk slightly longer than high. The limbs are perfectly plump. The thoracic circumference measured behind the shoulders must be at least 10 cm greater than the height at the withers. The tail, tied high, is shortened to about a third of its length. It is carried obliquely. The poodle's appearance is an important characteristic of the breed.
