Soft-coated Wheaten Terrier

The Soft-coated Wheaten Terrier has a lively, agile and energetic appearance, full of power but without heaviness. The head is long, the skull flat and rather narrow between the ears, without wrinkles. The stop sign is barely visible, except in profile. The eyes are dark, small, not protruding and have an expression full of life and intelligence. The ears, small and V-shaped, are well inserted and fall forward against the cheek, making a fold above the skull. The chest is lowered and muscular, but not broad. The trunk is moderately long, with a strong, straight back. The limbs are moderately long, strong, perfectly plump. The tail, usually cut to three quarters, is tied high and carried cheerfully.
