Lagotto romagnolo

The Lagotto romagnolo is a medium-small dog, with a rustic appearance, strong and very well proportioned, with abundant and curly hair. The skull is domed when viewed from the front; in profile, it shows a curve that flattens in the occipital region. The muzzle is slightly wedge-shaped. The eyes are rather large, rounded, of a color which goes from ocher to dark brown depending on the coat, but never yellow or greyish. The ears are moderately large in relation to the volume of the head; they are worn hanging or slightly raised if the dog is awake. The tail is inserted low and slightly tapered at the tip, carried saber at rest, high awake.
