The Great Pyrenees Dog is a large, imposing dog with a strong structure, but not without a certain elegance. The head is not too strong in relation to the size; the lateral faces are rather flat, the skull slightly rounded. The broad, good-length muzzle tends to narrow towards the tip. The stop must not be too pronounced. The eyes are rather small, amber brown in color, with an intelligent and contemplative expression; they are slightly oblique. The ears are located at eye level, rather small, triangular in shape, rounded at the tip: they fall flat on the sides of the head. The members are straight and strong; the hind limbs have double articulated lugs.
