Bloodhound

The Bloodhound is a very heavy, massive and imposing dog, with a slow pace. The head gives an expression of grandeur and majesty. It is large in all its dimensions except in width; the skin of the forehead and cheeks is deeply wrinkled. The lips are long and hanging. The eyes are dark hazelnut brown, the lower eyelid is very drooping. The ears are quite long, set very low and hang forward. The neck is long, with very developed baleen. The back is wide and strong and the belly slightly tucked in. The tail is long, carried in an elegant curve. The limbs are straight, muscular, of good bones.
