Rottweiler

The Rottweiler is a medium-sized dog, with a well muscled body, slightly elongated compared to its height, compact and vigorous, evoking strength, flexibility and resistance. The head is imposing, of medium length: the muzzle is as long as the skull. The eyes are very dark, almond shaped, of medium size. The ears are of medium size, hanging, triangular in shape, very wide apart, set high. The neck is robust and dry, without dewlap. The chest is wide and deep. The back is straight, robust and taut. The limbs are plump, of robust structure, well muscled. The tail, cut, is short and robust, carried horizontally.
