Jack Russell terrier

The Jack Russell Terrier is a working, robust, active, agile Terrier with a strong personality. Its elastic body is medium in length, generally longer than it is tall. The eyes are small, dark, almond shaped, with a lively expression. They should not be prominent and the eyelids should adhere well to the eyeballs. The ears, rose bud or drooping, are of good texture and very mobile. The tail may be drooping when the dog is at rest but, in action, it must be erect. Pruning is optional and, when the tail is shortened, the tip should be at the height of the ears.
