German Shepherd

The German Shepherd is a dog of a size slightly above the average, rather lengthened, robust, very muscular. The limbs are harmonious and oriented in such a way that they allow a strong rear push and a very good lengthening of the front part: the dog is built like a pure walker. The head is proportionate to the body, dry, moderately broad between the ears; the muzzle is powerful. The ears have a medium size, they are broad at the base and carried erect. The almond shaped, slightly oblique eyes should be as dark as possible. The tail should at least reach the hock.
