Shiba Inu

The Shiba Inu is a small, well-proportioned dog, with a robust structure, good bones and good muscles. He looks a lot like an Akita Inu in miniature. The head has a broad forehead, well-developed cheeks, a fairly accentuated stop, a straight chamfer, a black nose; the flesh-colored truffle is accepted in white subjects. The muzzle is moderately thick, not too long, pointed. The eyes are quite small, slightly triangular, wide apart and dark brown in color. The ears are small, triangular, straight and slightly tilted forward. The withers are high, the back straight and short. The members are straight and well developed. The tail is tied high, large and carried above the back, strongly curled in the shape of a sickle.
